CYFC™ services rely on support through corporate and foundation grants, government funding, and individual donors. Our goal is to provide services to those who need it most, and we have begun an aggressive campaign to raise awareness about the work of CYFC™ services and launch a series of fundraising campaigns to recoup some government funding that will no longer be available. This year, we will launch a signature event to raise funds, combining with our annual Holiday Festival. In addition, strong individual, crowd-funding, and grant campaigns will be launched to meet the fundraising goal and eliminate the gap.

Foster youth face many challenges in their daily lives, often struggling with academics and positive social development. Too often, foster youth are shifted from foster home to foster home and do not have the opportunity to develop a sense of security.

Many remain withdrawn and cautious, never unpacking that “survival bag” kept on hand in the event they are asked to leave. Separated from family and often their siblings, foster youth tend to feel alone, isolated, and unnoticed.
